Benitos started in 2020 in Mamelodi, founded by Tshepo Mokoena and Joseph Mathe, with a simple goal, to make tasty, affordable kasi food accessible without needing to travel. In 2021, they moved to Olivenhoutbosch and have been growing ever since.
From just one employee back then to a team of 19 today, Benitos is doing its part to fight unemployment in the community. Known for their popular garlic Russians, homemade spices, and chillis, Benitos has become more than a food spot, it’s a place of warmth and support. Many come in for a meal and leave with a smile, feeling cared for.
At Benitos, it’s not just about food, it’s about feeding the soul and uplifting the kasi.
